A few good questions.
A practical place to start. For changing local details, your host or a qualified instructor is the best next call.
01Is Imsouane suitable for first-time surfers?
The bay can be a welcoming learning spot on suitable small days, with a qualified instructor. Bigger swells, crowds and currents change that picture. Book a lesson and follow the day’s local advice.
02Which airport should I choose?
Both Agadir Al Massira (AGA) and Essaouira Mogador (ESU) are options. Essaouira’s airport is geographically closer; Agadir often offers different flight choices. Compare flight times and pre-booked transfers, not just distance.
03Do I need cash or can I pay by card?
Bring Moroccan dirhams for small shops, food and taxis. Card acceptance and cash withdrawal facilities can change. Ask your accommodation beforehand and withdraw cash in a city before arriving.
04Is there anything to do if I don’t surf?
Watch the waves, visit the working harbour respectfully, walk established coastal paths, enjoy grilled fish or a terrace café, and ask your host about yoga or local outings. Leave room for doing very little.
05Are the photos and reviews real?
Every destination photograph has a source and photographer credit. Some are archival. We never generate a fake Imsouane photo or invent a review. Review buttons open public Google Maps searches; select the correct venue and read genuine reviews on Maps. No API key or copied review feed is used.
06Can I contact the guide team?
Yes. Use the contact form for questions, feedback or a correction. Your message is stored securely in the private admin inbox; this is not an accommodation booking service or emergency line.
