Two cities, one coastal destination
Imsouane sits between Agadir and Essaouira. Approximate road estimates are 94 km from Agadir and 98 km from Essaouira. Allow roughly 1.5–2 hours from either city rather than treating a route calculator’s fastest estimate as a promise. Stops, traffic, weather and the final approach all affect the journey.
From Agadir Al Massira Airport, plan around 116 km and 2–2.5 hours. Essaouira Mogador Airport is nearer by road, roughly 85 km and 1.5–2 hours. Choose flights for your whole itinerary; the nearer airport is not automatically the best connection.
Agree the details before departure
Ask your accommodation about a transfer, or check a current shuttle service such as Souk to Surf. We do not publish unverified timetables or fares. Confirm the date, collection point, actual village drop-off, luggage allowance and surfboard space. Ask whether the quoted total is per person or per vehicle.
If driving, use live directions and allow daylight for an unfamiliar arrival. Avoid roadside stops on blind bends. Tell your host your expected time and ask about the final access to the property: an attractive bay view does not tell you where a vehicle can stop.
Keep a backup, not a rigid schedule
Download your host’s directions before setting off, carry a charged phone and keep some cash for contingencies. The route cards link to Google Maps for all four origins. Distances and planning times are research estimates, not live traffic, bookings or guarantees.
